The 3rd Thematic Workshop was held at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) premises, in Nicosia, on 29 September 2016.

Local representatives from the Ministry of Education and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) as well as partners experts from BIBB, OAED, IME GSEVEE, IEP and CPC were invited as speakers and presented detailed information and key factors concerning the topics of the different guides and results of the studies of the training needs in Cyprus and in Greece, in regard to the Pilot implementation of the apprentices’ training programme in enterprises.
Welcome remarks, on behalf of Leonidas Paschalides, the Senior Director of CCCI, was addressed by Monica Andreou.
On behalf of the Cypriot Ministry of Education and Culture, Soula Papadia presented «Current and future Challenges of Apprenticeship in Cyprus».
On behalf of CCCI, a presentation contacted under the title «Facilitating SMEs’ Engagement in Apprenticeship system in Cyprus».
On behalf of BIBB, a presentation contacted under the title «Companies in the role of VET providers».
On behalf of IME GSEVEE, Gerasimos Karoulas presented «Establishment and operation of apprenticeship intermediary networks of SMEs and VET schools».
Irene Kyriakidi and Revveka Chroussala on behalf of IEP, presented the outcomes of the «Identifying Educational and Training needs of Trainers Study in Greece».
On behalf of CPC, Andreas Polydorou and Katerina Kokkinou presented the main results of the quantitive and qualitive study on «Trainers Training Needs» in Cyprus under WP4.
Finally, the 3rd Thematic Workshop was completed with open discussion and conclusions.
